On May 16, ICTA hosted a dynamic Global Responsible Distribution (GRD) Workshop in Bogotá, Colombia, bringing together industry leaders, local stakeholders, and experts to explore the future of responsible chemical distribution.
The GRD program brings together principles of sustainability, social responsibility, safety, health, and security — aligning with the highest global standards.
We’ve partnered with ICTA members Univar, Azelis and Brenntag for this workshop, and here’s what we’ve learned from their experiences:
💡 These companies take responsibility: They’ve been actively implementing and reporting on these topics for quite some time.
💡 They prioritize effectively: By setting clear priorities, they are able to implement policies with real impact.
💡 They see community inclusion as essential: Caring for your neighbours and engaging with the local community is a key part of their approach.
💡 They strive for continuous improvement: Ongoing training and development of their people is a core commitment.
This aligns closely with ICTA’s vision and fits seamlessly within the GRD program.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us in Bogotá and contributed to the conversation. Let’s keep the momentum going!
