ICTA attended the OPCW Industry Co-ordination Group Meeting held in The Hague on 29 June 2017. It aimed to improve co-operation between international chemical organisations, such as ICTA and ICCA.
The meeting focused on the international recording of chemical movements and monitoring discrepancies noticed in accompanying documentation. It agreed that it was desirable to improve outreach mechanisms to build awareness of the issues surrounding chemical security.
OPCW will organise a workshop on Chemical Security on 28-29 September 2017.
