Early 2016 ICTA was registered officially as the worldwide association representing the interests of the chemical distribution sector. Since then, ICTA has continued to develop, thanks primarily to the considerable efforts of Birger Kuck and the Fecc’s Brussel office.
As Interim Director General Birger Kuck has united national associations and chemical trade companies and inspired them to join the new organization. The Fecc team provided excellent secretarial support, for instance by raising ICTA’s online visibility and representing the sector at international fora. ICTA would like to take this opportunity to thank Birger Kuck and the Fecc team for their outstanding work in supporting the global chemical distribution sector.
After this successful build-up phase, ICTA has now engaged Brabers to further develop the association. Brabers will function as independent secretariat. It will interact with international stakeholders and develop ICTA into a platform for members to work together. By doing so ICTA hopes to truly make a global impact in these dynamic times.
