ICTA’s Golden Guidelines to ensure warehouse safety now in 3 extra languages
Last year ICTA published its fourteen Golden Guidelines. They offer basic safety precautions that workers in chemical warehouses must take to ensure their own safety and that of their colleagues. Employees of chemical distributors will already be aware of the safety rules in the Golden Guidelines. However, working with dangerous chemicals requires continues attention and therefore it is useful to continuously remind workers of the risks of their work and provide simple guidance for safety.
After determining the 14 Golden Guidelines and the accompanying safety measures, posters have been designed that can be placed at warehouses of ICTA members and their logistical service providers. These posters not only serve as a reminder, but can also be used as a tool for SHE managers to (re)start their conversation on simple safety requirements with staff handling chemicals.
The digital posters were already available in English, but have now been translated to Spanish and German as well. They can be found here: English, French, German, Spanish
