The UK is in its final stage of introducing full border control on imports from the EU into the UK.
From 31 October 2024, a declaration to UK customs will apply to all import shipments from the EU.The UK HS Commodity Code finder will help you find the necessary commodity codes, duty and VAT rates.
For international trade, you can use other databases to comply with import and export regulations. The database Acces2Markets has a global scope, while the TARIC database is focused on the EU. A curated list of chemicals with Chemical Weapon proliferation concerns can be found here.
